I like the style of the sconce. I have used it around my spa tub. I have however, reduced the light bulb to a 25 watt. I wanted more ambiance than true light. The glass has a opalescent sheen that is not detected in photo. They call it "iridized" and the base is closed too. A plus because it keeps the bugs out.
